Around 12:30, breakfast was served, quiche and pancakes and eggs-great! The party ended all too soon, the ship docking at 2AM. At midnight, with our horns, hats and leis, provided by the Victory, we welcomed the New Year with a balloon drop that also offered prizes within the balloons. After dinner we tried our luck at the slots and blackjack table. We danced and drank and laughed for an hour and then went in for a 5-star buffet dinner. Our dinner was at 9PM, so we had plenty of time to step out on the deck, watch our departure from the dock and dance to the DJ's music spanning the gamut of rock and roll through the years. The event started at 7:30 and as soon as we stepped foot on the boat, the top-notch Victory staff were gathered at the entrance, applauding our arrival. We arrived at our hotel, the fantastic Radisson, only 1 mile from the ship, and were whisked away by a Victory free shuttle to the ship. Prime rib dinner, open bar, live music and a DJ, too, dancing and, of course, gaming tables and slots. What a fabulous time we had on the Victory Casino Cruise on New Year's Eve.
